I've been thinking about Ireland more than usual lately, and I'd like to attribute it to the deal I found ~$600 for a week in Ireland, a few nights in Dublin and Cork, maybe a car rental? If you haven't been there, you really should go.
We had a nice snow today and when the clouds cleared this evening, I thought I should probably get the ol' camera out and play around a bit. Didn't get anything too interesting, but I like the moon shot.
I went to the Colorado Irish Festival this past July and thought I would put a few of the pictures up from that trip. I would highly recommend going to anyone who can!
Well I finally got around to getting through the pictures I took while visiting the Tetons and Yellowstone, and these are probably my favorites. I wish I'd seen more wildlife but there was surprisingly little in the way of active fauna in the area (that I saw).
This is my first attempt at a panoramic shot. This was composed of 6 pictures I took at Jenny Lake in Grand Teton national park this past week. Let me know how you like it!
It doesn't really look like it, but that really is an island. The mud at the bottom of the picture should be water but the drought isn't doing the lake any favors.
At the urging of a friend, I was convinced to try out Adobe Lightroom and I'm already really impressed by it. This picture is from my recent fall collection that I was just testing out in Lightroom. Yes, it's a preset but I think it looks rather sexy.
We woke up this morning to our first valley snow of the 2008 season. It wasn't much but enough to coat everything in a clean, beautiful blanket of white.
Last week, I went for a drive through the Alpine and Nebo loops and caught some nice pictures showing off the fall colors. It ended up being a stormy day but being as high in the mountains as we were, it made for some unexpectedly nice views.
